The following local residents were named to the Fall 2011 Dean's List at Saint Michael's College, a liberal arts, residential Catholic college located in Burlington, Vermont, one of the top 10 college towns in America:

• Emily Gauthier, daughter of Beverly and Loren Gauthier of Canton, a Senior Spanish major, who graduated from Hugh C. Williams High School before coming to Saint Michael's.

• Jordan Kilty, daughter of James and Jill Edwards of Massena, a Senior Journalism and Mass Communications major, who graduated from Massena Central High School before coming to Saint Michael's.

• Michael Gilbert, son of Andrew and Mary Gilbert of Potsdam, a Sophomore Music major, who graduated from Parishville-Hopkinton Central School before coming to Saint Michael's.

Students who complete a minimum of 12 credits and achieve a grade point average of at least 3.4 at the end of a semester are recognized for their scholarship by inclusion on the Dean's List.
