CANTON -- Private Curtis J. Barney, 18, Canton, graduated from the United States Marine Corps boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, Dec. 21.
Private Barney successfully completed 13 weeks of intensive basic training at Parris Island as one of many recruits in Training Platoon C-1101.
Following ten days home on leave he will report to Camp LeJeune in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
