OSWEGO -- Several local residents took part in internships through SUNY Oswego's experience-based education program during the spring semester.
Area residents included:
• Kayla Gerlach, Canton, a senior psychology major who interned at the Counseling Services Center, SUNY Oswego campus.
• Faith Page, Hermon, a senior zoology major who interned at the Kingdom Wildlife Sanctuary, Pretoria, South Africa.
• Keith Gallucci, Heuvelton, a sophomore cinema and screen studies major who interned at the English and Creative Writing department, SUNY Oswego campus.
• Francis Spriggs, Ogdensburg, a senior broadcasting-mass communication major who interned at Pro Player Insiders, SUNY Oswego campus.
The experience-based education program at Oswego places students in internships and career awareness opportunities that allow them to earn college credits while garnering life experience.
