The Boy Scouts of America Northern Lights Council recently held an annual district dinner and reception to honor scout leaders and a new Eagle scout.
Nolan Rishe of Ogdensburg recently achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Rishe, of Troop 9, was also named the District Award of Merit winner.
Neil Cichetti of troop 41 was named the William D. Boyce Award winner and Pieter Visscher of pack 28 was named Cub Scout Leader of the Year.
The Potsdam Elks Lodge presented Rishe with a plaque commemorating his elevation to Eagle scout.
