POTSDAM -- The BBC World Service is featuring an interview with Clarkson University Associate Professor of Psychology Andreas Wilke on a "Why Factor" program about why people take risks.
Wilke studies cognitive processing, judgment and decision-making and evolutionary approaches to human behavior.
His research has been funded by grants from the National Center for Responsible Gaming, the T. Urling and Mabel Walker Fellowship Program of Northern New York, which is administered at SUNY Potsdam, and the International Society for Human Ethology. His work is regularly featured in national and international media outlets.
He's also the coauthor of more than 30 published articles, many of them conducted and published in collaboration with his students.
