About 196 awards and scholarships, totaling approximately $52,000, were awarded at the recent Potsdam Central School senior awards night.

The night “was a highlight of the school year at Potsdam,” said Ashley Eipp, high school public relations.

“The senior awards night is always an emotional event as memorial scholarships are shared, remembered, and awarded,” she said.

Students were recognized for academic, social, extra-curricular and overall performance, according to a press release.
