POTSDAM -- Several “students of the block” for the third block of the school year were recently selected at A. A. Kingston Middle School.
“Students are selected on the basis of scholastic achievement, citizenship, and extra curricular activities. Outstanding effort and attitude are highly valued as well,” said a press release from the school.
Pictured above with their plaques are Madeline Wheeler (5th grade), Katherine Betrus (7th grade), Claire Murphy (5th grade) and Leon Lufkin (7th grade). In back are Adam DiMarco (6th grade), Tristan Sanford (8th grade), Megan Kuiken (8th grade) and AAK Middle School Principal Bennett, who presented the awards.
Kayla Buckley was also named a student of the block.
