Potsdam Walk-Bike trail

Clarkson University President Tony Collins (center), State Senator Joseph A. Griffo (left), and Village of Potsdam Mayor Ron Tischler broke ground for the Potsdam Walk-Bike Enhancement Project Sept. 30, along with members of the Clarkson Cycling Club and Mike Klein '06, owner of Wear on Earth in Potsdam. The project will bring bike lanes, sidewalks, shared roadway signs and new pavement to Clarkson Ave. within the village. It will also fund repaving on Pine St.; shared roadway signs on Maple St., Pierrepont Ave., Elm St., and Main St.; and new sidewalks on Leroy St. from Bradley Dr. to May Rd. and on May Rd. from Leroy St. to the bank.
