Potsdam, Parishville teams tie for first at NARE

On May 12, the North Adirondack Regional Envirothon (NARE) was held at Paul Smith’s College, with two teams from St. Lawrence County tied not only for first place from the County, but also for first place overall for the event. Teams from Potsdam Central School and Parishville-Hopkinton took first place out of 26 teams from four counties with a score of 99 out of 125 points. The NARE program brings high schools from Clinton, Essex, Franklin and St. Lawrence Counties together to compete for the opportunity to participate in the New York State Envirothon. Parishville-Hopkinton School will represent St. Lawrence County at New York State Envirothon.
