Low flows aid Potsdam debris removal
Friday, July 27, 2012 - 5:11 pm

Workers at Potsdam’s east dam take advantage of the low water flow on the Raquette River today to clean up some more of the debris from the violent storm on Tuesday, July 16. Most of these boards are believed to be from the roof at Evans and Whites Hardware, which was largely blown off in the high winds. At 450 cubic feet per second, the flow at the dam “is about as low as Brookfield lets it get,” said Village Superintendent David Fenton. NorthCountryNow.com photo by Craig Freilich.
