Zachary Worden and Jordan Miller recently showed residents at the United Helpers Nursing Home how to bowl and play golf using the Nintendo Wii. The gaming console was made possible by donations received through the Society of the United Helpers Wish Book Program. Wish Books consist of a list of items that are requested or “wished for” by the Administrator, staff and residents. Donors simply browse the book and choose which item they would like to sponsor. The Wish Book program is available to view online and at most of the United Helpers facilities. To learn more about the Society of the United Helpers Wish Book Program, please call the Development Office at 393-3074 extension 230 or 271.
