Richard Elliott, left, and son, Richard Shore, look over the remains of their barn on 184 Austin Ridge Rd., Norwood, early Monday morning. Shore noticed an 'orange glow' coming from outside the house around 2:30 a.m. and alerted his father, Richard Elliott. Elliott ran outside in his bare feet and was able to get their car, 4-wheeler and fishing rods out before the barn became engulfed in flames. "We're lucky it was put out before the fire got to the house...it was close, the siding had started to buckle," said Elliott. NorthCountryNow.com photo by Debbie Morgan. For more details, view story.
