Pinwheels for Peace in Massena
Thursday, September 22, 2011 - 5:23 pm

All pre-K through 6th grade students at Trinity Catholic School in Massena recently created these Pinwheels for Peace and formed a large peace sign on the school's lawn. The pinwheels each have a message of peace written on them, and each student came up with their own message of peace after being asked, "what does peace mean to you?" This art installation was created as a way to celebrate International World Peace Day (Sept. 21) and as a way to embrace the school theme for the year: We leave peace prints!
