A dedication ceremony for a new memorial for deceased Waddington Volunteer Fire Department members will be dedicated Aug. 3 at 5 p.m. This bell, made in 1846 and used to start the races at the race track in Waddington, has been installed in a new memorial next to the fire hall at 51 Maple Street.Pictured is Michael Badlam, who has been a volunteer with the fire department for over 20 years.
