Joan Szarka-Eddy of Massena recently made a brief demonstration in support of Tri-Town Meat Packing Plant, Brasher. The company has opted to stop USDA meat inspection following a clash with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and will now only handle individual livestock processing. Szarka-Eddy's flag reads "Customers 110 percent satisfied. Free Tri-Town packing. Give me Liberty's products or give me death." She is making reference to the plant's owner, Tom Liberty.
