Long Sault Archery Club ends season

The Long Sault Archery Club Junior archers recently held their Annual Banquet to end the 2011 archery season at the Massena Rod and Gun Club. Pictured from left are League Director Mark Billings, Mark Tessier, Riley Kenney, Pauline Gardner, Denver Kenney, Megan Ashley, Jordan Ashley, Chris LaPoint, Jacob Brothers, Ethan Chatterton, Nikaronhiasa Shilling, Pete Dibble-Instructor, Matt French--Instructor, Dylan Tyo, Sarah Tyo, Carman Kenney, Jon Paul DeShaies, Dustin Smith, Drew McMann, Jeremy Peets--Instructor. The Most Improved shooters in their class were: Pee Wees--Ethan Chatterton, Cubs--Nikaronhiasa Shilling, Youths--Drew McMann and Young Adults-Carman Kenney. The Junior League begins on the first Thursday in January and runs for 10 weeks. The main purpose of the league is to teach youngsters between the ages of 6 and 17 the basic skills needed to become a proficient archer, whether for hunting or simply target shooting.
