U.S. Customs and Border Protection employees recently finished their campaign of collecting food for their 'Feds Feed Families; program. This year, CBP employees at the Massena port of entry donated food items and cash with a final collection totaling 2,154 pounds of non-perishable food items. ‘The employees collectively decide who will be the recipient of the food items and this year the St. Patrick-St. Lawrence Food Pantry was chosen,’ CBP officer Lesley Shutts said in a news release. ‘We are like a big family that has an opportunity to help others.
