As part of an elementary-wide character education project titled "Gobbling for Character" Edwards-Knox students wore turkey hats they crafted in art class. The letters in the word TURKEY represent; Thankful, Understanding, Respectful, Kind, Empathetic, Yes we are! Each word was written on a feather. Students and staff in grades Pre-K through six wore the hats on Nov. 22 to show their good character and school spirit.
