Milk cans from 1930s find way home to Waterman Hill farm
Tuesday, March 19, 2013 - 9:42 am

Milk cans retrieved from a barn after it burned down on Waterman Hill near Pierrepont many years ago have been returned to their original farm and are being used to hold sap during sugaring season. The farm, owned then by Kenneth Aldous, was a dairy farm that provided milk to Queensboro Milk Plant, a processing plant located on Governeur Street in Canton. The plant used to serve the dairy farmers of the North Country from the 1930’s. For more info see story.
