MASSENA -- Zombies and Zumba events in September and October will raise money for the Massena Boys and Girls Club.
The Zumbathon, set for Sept. 6 at 1 p.m. will be part of the Massena Harvest Festival. It will be at the Massena fire station, Andrews Street.
It is for all experience levels, ages 10 and up.
It will include a local celebrity challenge that will bring well-known local personalities to either donate $100 or take the stage and be a featured Zumba dancer for a song.
General admission is $10, with a $20 family rate. Day-of sign-ups are $5 more. Limited pre-sale tickets are $15.

The 5K "ZOMBIE Run!" is slated for dusk on Oct. 25 the the John Story Trail.
Presented in partnership with the Seaway Valley Prevention Council, human runners and a zombie horde will converge for fundraising and exercise just in time for Halloween. Will there be any survivors left, or will the Zombie masses take over the world? There’s only one way to find out.
