OGDENSBURG – A Zonta Zumbathon is set for 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29 at the Dobisky Visitor's Center.
A $10 donation at the door benefits the Ogdensburg Area Zonta Club, which works to advance the status of women locally and worldwide.
Instructors are, from 1 to 2 p.m., Jade Reynolds; 2 to 3 p.m., Mickey Snye; 3 to 4 p.m., Jessica Martin; and 4 to 5 p.m., Kristin Cobb Worden.
You may Zumba for as long you wish, sampling each of the instructors.
Zumba is a dance-based group fitness class, incorporating different Latin dance moves choreographed to Latin dance music.
A 50/50 raffle will be going on all day long, as well as a raffle for great prizes. Buy one raffle ticket for $1 or 10 tickets for $5 to enter to win a Zumba themed floral centerpiece, Titus Mountain ski passes, gift certificates to local businesses, Zumba passes for multiple weeks and months, Zumba attire and more.
T-shirts will be available for $10. Water will be available for $1 per bottle.
