LISBON -- The River Valley Gun Dog Club in conjunction with the St. Lawrence Valley Sportsmen's Club plans to again host a youth pheasant hunt at the St. Lawrence Valley Sportsmen's Club’s property off Route 37, at 25 Sports Club Rd.
The event will be held Sept. 23 and 24, starting at 8 a.m. each day.
The hunts are open to the first 40 young hunters, girls and boys ages 12 to 15, to sign up.
All participants must pre-register and must have a valid 2017 license.
All participants will have an opportunity to harvest two pheasants hunting with guides handling trained bird hunting dogs.
