POTSDAM -- A youth mental health first aid class will be held Saturday, July 15, from 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. at the Potsdam Library, 2 Park St., second floor.
The session is designed to teach parents, family members, teachers, school staff, and health/human services workers to identify and help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or is in crisis (such as suicidal ideation).
The class cost $40 in advance, or $50 the day of the training.
