POTSDAM – A box lacrosse league for fourth through 12th graders at Pine Street Arena is organizing under Coach Todd Kaiser. Fourth to sixth graders will play Tuesday and Thursday nights starting June 5 and seventh through 12th graders play Monday and Wednesday nights starting June 4 at 6 p.m. all through June.
This is an opportunity to develop individual and team skills in dodging, defense, stick protection, shooting, and stick work. There will be no body checking. They will play two 25-minute halves.
Players must have helmets, gloves, arm pads, shoulder pads, mouthpiece, sneakers, and a reversible pinnie. Teams will be picked the first night, June 5 for the younger group and June 6 for the older players. The cost is $40 per player.
