POTSDAM – A Yoga for Muscle and Bone Strength class is being offered on Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the third floor dance studio in Merritt Hall at SUNY Potsdam. The new session begins on Wednesday, Nov. 23 and ends Wednesday, Feb. 1, after which the class will continue as a spring non-credit course beginning Wednesday, Feb. 8.
All are welcome to explore a beginner's yoga approach for women and men of any age with Paula Youmell, certified health and physical education teacher and personal trainer.
Incorporating yoga into an exercise routine can improve muscle and bone strength while promoting a deep feeling of relaxation and peace.
Attendees should bring a mat and wear comfortable clothing. To register contact the non-credit office at SUNY, at clear@potsdam.edu or 267-2167.
