CANTON -- A “garlic mustard pull and pesto prep workshop” will be held Saturday, May 14, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at TAUNY, 53 Main St.

The event is hosted by TAUNY and Nature Up North.

Garlic mustard is an invasive herb that threatens local native species.

Its spread can be controlled by eating it. Participants will pull garlic mustard at SUNY Canton and meet back at TAUNY for a culinary demo.

Dress for the weather and be prepared to get dirty.

RSVP: Jake at 262-7325 or jmalcomb@stlawu.edu.
