POTSDAM – The workshop “How Did the Artist Do That?” with Dagmar Jaunzens will be held Thursday, Feb. 15, from 2-4 p.m. at SLC Arts, 41 Elm St.
The class will cost $24 or $19 for SLC Arts members. Students will develop a vocabulary with which to appreciate and discuss various works of art by examining a variety of well-known representational paintings and analyzing them for the artists’ techniques.
At the end attendees will produce a pencil sketch experimenting with the techniques learned in class.
Those taking the class need to bring their own paper and pencil.
Pre-registration and payment is required.
