CANTON – Woodcarver Ron Riley will once again offer his popular carving classes this winter at TAUNY, on Saturdays from 1 to 3 p.m.
On Jan. 14 and 28, beginning to advanced carvers will carve and paint a miniature loon.
On Feb. 11 and 25 and March 10, advanced carvers will carve a wooden village featuring houses, trees, and dogs. The final session will be determined by participants.
The cost of the two-session January class is $35 for TAUNY members and $42 for non-members, which includes the cost of materials.
The cost for the three-session village carving series is $50 for members, $65 for non-members, plus an additional $10 for materials.
