CANTON -- SUNY Canton’s Canino School of Engineering Technology is hosting its “Women in Engineering Day” beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, in Nevaldine Technology Center.
Girls in sixth, seventh and eighth grades can participate in activities and conversations related to careers in engineering. Workshops and presentations include Lego Mindstorm Robots and robotic programing, graphic design and interactive art, a computer password guessing game, computer-based automotive lessons, drinking water treatment, an introduction to surveying, electronics projects and materials analysis.
