CANTON -- St. Lawrence University will host the 12th annual Community Winter Solstice Celebration Friday, Dec. 21 at 7 p.m.

The celebration will be in Herring-Cole Hall and will include a family-friendly Pagan ceremony.

Music and science will be featured, and participants are invited to bring musical instruments to join in the music.

Non-perishable food items for donation to local food pantries are appreciated.
