CANTON -- The Cornell Cooperative Extension, 2043B State Highway 68, will host a winter dairy program on cattle housing and handling, cow comfort, animal welfare, and communicating positive messages about cattle welfare.
The program will be held Jan. 13 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Dairy specialists with the Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine and the University of Vermont Department of Animal and Veterinary Services will speak at the program.
The Cornell Cooperative Extension associations of Northern New York, Quality Milk Production Services, and Northwest New York Dairy, Livestock and Field Crops Team are partnering for the program.
