Wine, Beer, Cheese, Chocolate, & Artisan Festival takes place Feb. 4 in Ogdensburg

OGDENSBURG — The Frederic Remington Art Museum, 303 Washington St., is hosting its second annual Wine, Beer, Cheese, Chocolate, & Artisan Festival Saturday, Feb. 4, from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

This event provides a tasting and shopping experience, conveniently scheduled before Valentine's Day.

Vendors include 12 wineries, two breweries and a distillery as well as 16 artisans offering locally made products from jewelry to fine art to sweets and handcrafted soap.

Thirty-three vendors will return from last year, with 10 additions.

Most of the offerings are locally and regionally produced, and sold by local artisans and vendors.

Coyote Moon Vineyards, Northern Flow Vineyards, River Myst Winery, Three Brothers Wineries, Kaneb Orchards, Otter Creek Winery, Lakeland Winery, Heron Hill Winery, Venditti Vineyards, Bella Brooke Vineyard, Busted Grapes, Thousand Islands Winery, Dark Island Spirits, Raquette River Brewing, Wood Boat Brewery, Dragonfly Pottery, Tom’s Wood Shop, Author Barbara Briggs Ward, High Peaks Embroidery/Adirondack Balsam Products, Ladies First Gallery, Bee Art Shop, Eye Candy, Tucker Springs Organics/The Soap Guys, River Rat Designs, Mare's Wares, Pottery, Deebeads, Romancing the Stones Jewelry, Lynn Murray Photography, Blue Frenzy Jewelry, Fired Up Enamel Jewelry, Lathered — A Soap Company, Not Your Average Cookie, Apple Grove Farm, Bittersweet Farm, North Country Creamery, Sweeter Creations Sugar House, Natural Nook. Wimpy's Inn will provide a selected menu, inside the museum. Admission is $5 per person.

Festival visitors are encouraged to visit the Newell Galleries to enjoy exhibits of original art by Frederic Remington, as well as the 20th Annual Middle and High School Art Exhibit in the Richard E. Winter Gallery and the paintings of Ruth E. Claxton in the Torrey Family Gallery.
