BRASHER FALLS -- St. Lawrence Central School will show the play “Willy Wonka,” based on the book “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” Mar. 8 and Mar. 9 at 7:30 p.m.
Cast members will include Joel Truax as Willy Wonka, Cheyenne Padgett as the Candy Man, Jessica McCarthy as Phineous Trout, Kelsey Newtown as Charlie Bucket, Heather Nicholson as Mrs. Bucket, Shawn Patrick as Mr. Bucket, Danielle Furnace as Grandma Josephine and Maegan Clark as Grandma Georgina.
Other cast members will include Damien Razis as Grandpa George, Trever Roach as Grandpa Joe, Riley Barton as Augustus Gloop, Molly Burnett as Mrs. Gloop, Madee Derouchie as Veruca Salt, Johnny Clark as Mr. Salt, Taylor Capozzi as Violet Beauregarde, Sierra Sicard as Mrs. Beauregarde, Cornelius Guerard as Mike Teavee and Jordan Smith as Mr. Teavee.
Tickets will be $10 for adults and $8 for students, with a $1 discount for pre-sales. Ticket sales will begin Feb. 25.
The Music Theatre Organization of SUNY Potsdam held workshops to help the St. Lawrence Central students prepare for the upcoming show.
