CANTON -- St. Lawrence University’s Friends of Owen D. Young and Launders Libraries’ Pre-Commencement Lecture will be delivered by Michael R. Greenwald, retiring associate professor of religious studies, at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, in Griffiths Arts Center, room 123.
The event is free and open to the public, and light refreshments will be served.
His lecture, titled “Why do Christians Have Their Own Bible?” will explore what made Christians think that they needed a new set of texts so that they now have a two-part canon.
