POTSDAM -- The Rotary Club will host a “Wheelchair Challenge” Saturday, Oct. 13 at 3 p.m. to raise money for the Wheelchair Foundation.
The Wheelchair Foundation will match every $75 raised, contributing a total of $150 to purchase a wheelchair for a needy person.
The challenge, a relay race and elimination competition, will be at Maxcy Field House, SUNY Potsdam.
The entry fee for a four-person relay race team is $75 per team.
The first 50 teams to register will receive gift bags, and prizes will be given to the first, second, and third place teams.
Prizes will also be given to the team with the most spirit or the best costume, as well as to the team who raises the most money.
