Cabin Fever presentation

EDWARDS: Winter Cabin Fever series of discussions on outdoor adventure in the North Country, 6:30 p.m., Hepburn Library; free and open to the public; Hiking the Trail to Yesterday will give a presentation on some of the longer hikes in the North Country and the history behind them. Loon Lake Mountain, High Falls on the Oswegatchie, Cat Mountain, Low’s overlook on Hitchen’s Pond and the Bog River are just a few that will be discussed.

Free writing workshop

CANTON: Free writing workshop with storyteller Regi Carpenter, Canton Free Library, 6-8 p.m.; light dinner of soup and salad provided by Big Spoon Kitchen; register: jhenry@ncls.org, 315-386-3712 ext 127.
