Colton: Story Walk led by Rachelle Romoda for the Friends of the Library, town’s John Stone Memorial Nature Trail located off County Route 58, for people of all ages; noon-4 p.m. the town’s Tourism & Beautification Committee will host a Barn Quilt Celebration, Dale Rexford’s home, East Higley Road, attendees will receive an updated list and map of the barn quilts as well as information about painting barn quilts and upcoming classes; chance to see Dale’s collection of vintage cars, refreshments.

Boating safely course
HAMMOND -- Ogdensburg Flotilla of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary hosting “About Boating Safely” course; St. John’s Parish Center, 5-9 p.m., Morristown; required in New York State for everyone 14 years old or older operating a personal watercraft (i.e. jet ski), and, motor boat operators born on or after May 1, 1996, and at least 10 years of age; instructors are local Auxiliary members having years of experience teaching boating safety and interacting with students; receive course text book and Federal and State rule books to keep as references; must attend both nights.
