Rocco bread bake
CANTON: TAUNY Center, 53 Main St., invites the community to a special bread-baking demonstration and tasting with skilled cook and retired NCPR Station Manager Ellen Rocco, 1-3 p.m., to bake and to serve two types of bread from Jewish tradition: braided challah, a bread made with eggs, eaten on the sabbath and at holiday gatherings, and a type of chocolate babka, a rich, bready coffee cake from Eastern Europe, tauny.org.
