Child care center opens
POTSDAM: SUNY Potsdam holding ribboncutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of a new dedicated facility to house the College's Child Care Center, 185 Outer Main St., at 3:30 p.m.; families, children, faculty, staff and elected officials will be on hand for the ceremony, including Assemblymember Addie A. E. Jenne, who secured $6 million in funding for the project; tours of the building will be offered; open to the public; potsdam.edu/faculty/spccc.
