Holly Folly Jeep Run
MASSENA/POTSDAM: 2nd annual FCJ Holly Folly Jeep Run, 3 p.m., St. Lawrence Centre; Jeep enthusiasts will be taking off from the mall with their rigs decked out with holiday lights at 3:30 p.m., to drop off baked goods to local retirement homes and the local Amvets; drivers will continue on to the Barking Dog Saloon in Potsdam; hosted by Fourth Coast Jeeps.
Lights on the River
LISBON: 9th annual Lights on the River begins, Lisbon Beach; over 75 Christmas lights displays; donations of cahs or food accepted to benefit 16 local food pantries; free admission; display will last until Dec. 23; www.lightsontheriver.com.
Polar Express movie
MASSENA: Polar Express Movie Adventure, pajama party, noon and 4 p.m. movie screenings, St. Lawrence Centre, free hot cocoa stand; $20 per child, includes movie, a bell, a golden ticket, Polar Express-themed photo by LaPosh Photography.

POTSDAM: Clarkson University alumna Simoon Cannon '97, founder and CEO of Melanina, LLC, will speak at Clarkson University’s December Recognition Ceremony, 11 a.m.; for graduates who are not planning to return for the May commencement; entrepreneur, chemical engineer, publisher and logistics expert with more than 20 years of experience; innovator in artificial intelligence and "big data" in fuel automation and inventory management for the oil, gas, and aviation industries.
