Talent show

MASSENA: Massena Central School French Club hosting talent show, 7 p.m., high school auditorium; prizes will be awarded; funds go toward proposed trip to Montreal; seeking acts from the community for the event, contact Sarah Hopper if interested in performing, shopper@mcs.k12.ny.us .

Organ concert

CANTON: St. Lawrence University’s Noon in the Chapel will perform the music of Germany and England, beginning at 12:15 p.m. in Gunnison Memorial Chapell; free and open to the public; will feature early English and German composers who made major contributions to the organ world; Sondra Goldsmith Proctor, St. Lawrence’s organist and musician-in-residence, will perform works by William Byrd, Samuel Wesley, John Stanley, Samuel Scheidt, Johann Pachelbel, Dieterich Buxtehude, and Johann Sebastian Bach; chapel@stlawu.edu.
