Cocktails & Canvases

HAMMOND: CHMC Auxiliary hosting Cocktails & Canvases Fundraiser at Bella-Brooke Vineyard, 2989 CR 6, 5-7 p.m.; canvas, paints, brushes, all supplies needed are included; Jade Reynolds will give instruction from start to finish; $45; this includes a painting, snacks and one adult beverage (wine, beer, wine slushies or a non-alcoholic beverage); pre-payment is required no later than 6/12 to secure your spot; pre-register with CHMC Auxiliary member Colleen Anderson canderson@chmed.org, CHMC Auxiliary Liaison Ramona Kennedy rkennedy@chmed.org,

Oil painting class

CANTON: Wilson Bickford will guide participants of all skill levels to create landscape oil; painting 5-9 p.m.; Canton Free Library; $50 supply fee; to register call 315-287-4514.

Pottery class

POTSDAM: SLC Arts offering three-day introductory thrown pottery course with instructor Andrew Norrell on June 17, 18, and 19, 6-9 p.m.; for beginners (ages 14+) with less than 20 hours of experience; students will learn how to properly wedge clay, center, pull walls for bowls and cylinders, trim, and glaze functional vessels; price of registration is $142.
