Festival of Trees

OGDENSBURG: CHMC Auxiliary Festival of Trees, Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, Mosaic Building, old Ogdensburg Mall, 100 Ford St., 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and 6 p.m. till close; $2, 15 and under free; hollyberry sale, used Christmas and jewelry for sale, live wreaths, kissing balls, Candyland, silent auction, gift baskets, Chinese auction, viewing of decorated trees, raffles, lunch at 11 a.m., children’s activities, music by Mark Darou and Jim Flood, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.; Saturday evening activities are $15 per person and include hors d’ouevres, cash bar, music by Dave and Dawn Merz, tree viewing, silent and Chinese auctions, raffles, live auction; 315-393-1559.

MASSENA: Massena Downtown Christmas Tree Lighting, 5- 8 p.m. at the 18-foot tree in front of the town hall; Massena Chamber of Commerce, Moving Massena Forward Coalition and the Massena Downtown Theater are sponsoring the event; caroling, hot chocolate and other festive fare; to volunteer to help with the event, email info@massenachamber.com.

Skate For Heather’s Hope

NORFOLK: Norfolk-Norwood Figure Skating Club hosting 7th annual Skate for Heather’s Hope at Dominic Zappia Community Center on Clinton Street; in memory of Heather Emlaw Planty; doors open at 2 p.m.; skating starts at 3 p.m.; proceeds donated to Gouverneur Breast Cancer Fund; watch local skaters demonstrate their skating abilities; 50/50, raffle baskets, hot food, bake sale and vendors; no admission cost, donations accepted at door.

Holiday Open House

CANTON: TAUNY's Annual Holiday Open House, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., TAUNY Center, 53 Main St.; Sugar & Spice Gingerbread Contest and Display, seasonal food, music, kids’ activities, and fun for the whole family throughout the day; free and open to the public.
