Skate with Santa
OGDENSBURG: Ogdensburg Parks & Recreation Department will host its Skate with Santa event at the Richard G. Lockwood Civic Center, home of the Jimmy Howard Rink, 1-3 p.m.; skate with Santa Claus and his elves; $1 for youth, $2 for adults; skate rentals are free; free popcorn and drinks and crafts available; 315-393-1980.
Rock & skate
OGDENSBURG: Morristown Central School Trap Team hosting rock & skate fundraiser, 6-9 p.m., Lockwood Arena; all ages welcome, under 10 must have adult supervision; concessions available, including Cam's Pizza; free skate rental, first come first serve.
‘Fastest Kid in the North Country’
CANTON: St. Lawrence University Cross Country and Track & Field Program’s ‘Fastest Kid in the North Country’ competition, at Newell Field House. Races for ages 2-6 (60 Meter Dash) and 7-10 (200 Meter Dash). Register 10:45 to 11:15 a.m.; races start 11:30. Cash donation or a non-perishable food item requested from each participant. Benefits Canton Church and Community Programs.
Frozen Foote 4-miler
