COLTON: Annual Colton Winterfest begins, “Rockin’ in the Great South Woods; silent auctions, quilt show, remembrance trees, open skating; https://www.townofcolton.com/winterfest.html ; 4-7 p.m. dinner at CPCS with Mac & Cheese, goulash, salad, and brownie sundae bar, $8 adults, $6 students and seniors; 5:30-7 p.m. boys JV basketball game at CPCS gym; 5:30-7:30 p.m. fondue and night skiing at Higley Flow State Park Trails Lodge, Big Spoon Kitchen providing cheese and chocolate fondues with variety of items to dip plus mulled cider, tea, and coffee, $27 per person (part of proceeds benefit Friends of HFSP), limited to 30 people, pre-register at bigspoonkitchen.com (under events).
