Climate change rallies

CANTON/POTSDAM: North Country 350 Alliance holding two simultaneous climate rallies in both Canton and Potsdam, 4-5 p.m.; in Canton at the corner of Main and Park Streets and in Potsdam in front of the post office at 21 Elm St.; to show support for "Our Children's Trust Trial of the Century" where 21 youths are suing the federal government for failure to adequately address climate change; all welcome; youths encouraged to speak; www.ourchildrenstrust.org, northcountry350@gmail.com.

'No Apology Living'

CANTON: St. Lawrence University will host the presentation "No Apology Living" with Megan Orcholski on Monday, Oct. 29.  The event is free and open to the public and will be held at 7 p.m. in the Sykes Formal Lounge.  Orcholski, a self-styled performer, public speaker, educator, gender warrior, queer fem and scholar, specializes in how life is performed and communicated, said the SLU website.
