Beer Brewing 101

POTSDAM: "Beer Brewing 101: Let’s Get Started,” the first of a series with presenters Loren Fountaine and Mike Zagrobelny, 1-3 p.m. at Big Spoon Kitchen; hosted by Local Living Venture; $22 general public, $40 couple/family of two, $10 student donation; must be over 21; register: LocalLivingVenture@gmail.com, 315-347-4223.

Shirt and Sip

NORFOLK: Shirt and Sip, 6:30-8 p.m., Bregg Winery, 56 W. Main St.; local artist Liza LaBarge offering a Halloween-themed t-shirt painting class; create your own design or choose from one of the designs created by Liza; bring your own textile or pre-register with a shirt size and one will be provided for you; $25 registration includes one black shirt, art supplies and one glass of hard cider or hard cider slushie (non-alcoholic cider will also be available); registration closes on Oct. 19; register by sending a message through the Bregg Winery Facebook page or by calling 315-212-6135.
