CANTON -- Janisse Ray, an author, activist and naturalist, will give a talk titled "What Counts As Progress?" Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 7 p.m. in Eben Holden Hall, St. Lawrence University.

The event, part of the Contemporary Issues Forum, will be followed by a book-signing.
