Welsh Society of Richville service and meeting Sunday

RICHVILLE -- Welsh Society of Richville will hold their service and meeting on Sunday, Aug. 27, at 2 p.m.

The program will include a special solo by Noah Lovell, a reading of the History of the Welsh Church in Richville plus a hymn sing under the direction of Ford Reynolds and his assistances – including the Welsh Anthem and a hymn sang in the Welsh language.

Pastor Karen Taylor of the United Church of Richville is the guest speaker. All are invited to attend this unique annual service.

Following the service, refreshments will be served at the Richville Historical Association along with the opportunity to visit the exhibits there.

The Masonic exhibit has been placed in a display cabinet, there are new items in the Richville School exhibit -- thanks to the Phillips Family. Also part of the collection are maps, quilts, a display of fire fighters, military uniforms and photos.

The recent addition of the historic marker memorabilia will also be on display.

All are welcome to attend and to come to the Richville Historical Association.
