CANTON -- Traditional Arts in Upstate New York (TAUNY) will host a “Welcome to the North Country” open house Sept. 12 from 5 to 7 p.m. at The TAUNY Center, 53 Main St. TAUNY is the North Country’s only organization dedicated to showcasing the folk culture and living traditions of the region.
